Heroku is a cloud PaaS service that enables companies to speed up the application lifecycle; building, delivering, monitoring, and scaling applications without the headaches of standing up infrastructure to support the application. In this course, Heroku: The Big Picture, you’ll learn what its like to develop on and operate Heroku. First, you’ll explore Heroku architecture and components. Next, you’ll discover the benefits and limitations of the Heroku platform. Finally, you’ll learn how about Heroku pricing, its ecosystem, and how it works with various programing languages.
